Wire Based Latchways Roof Fall Protection

Wire based systems typically use 8 mm diameter stainless steel cable, which provides excellent resistance to corrosion and wear. In a normal environment the cable is expected to remain safely useable for up to 20 years.

The inherent flexibility of a cable-based system allows it to flow around corners, deviations and up and down inclines. Top fix posts are specifically designed to be fitted to virtually all types of modern roofing systems without damaging the integrity of the roof.

In the event of a fall the loads generated are absorbed by top fix energy absorbing posts rather than being transferred to the roof, building or structure.

Rail Based

Rail sections can be mounted overhead, at foot or waist level dependant on application and can be used for suspended access using ropes, positive restraint and fall arrest by multiple persons. A variety of fixing options means that fitment to masonry, concrete, steel, beams, rails and girders is possible. The systems utilise a four wheeled carriage to enable use without hindrance or restriction.
