Latchways WalkSafe®Latchways recognises through ever-increasing legislation that height safety is of paramount importance within industry. In working to provide the complete range of roof access solutions, Latchways is pleased to offer WalkSafe®.
In conjunction with a Mansafe Fall Protection System, a designated walkway system should be specified. Latchways’ WalkSafe walkway provides a level anti-slip surface, marking a designated route for workers to follow. WalkSafe can be affixed to all major roof types including composite, built up on site, scret fix and membrane and does not damage the integrity of the roof or compromise the guarantee.
WalkSafe is manufactured from recycled PVCu and is designed to provide a levelled, anti-slip, delineated walkway surface which affixes to the roofing system.
The WalkSafe system aids compliance with the work at height regulations, CDM and booklet HSH 33 Health and Safety in Roofwork which gives extensive guidance on how to work safely on roofs.
WalkSafe can provide a demarcation route which guides a workers movement in areas where there are potential fall hazards, whilst eliminating wear and tear on the roofing systems in heavily trafficked areas.
ManSafe and WalkSafe–the complete roof access solution.
System testing must be conducted annually by suitably qualified installers to ensure that system certification is maintained. Key system checks such as deployment of shock absorbers, swage tests and torque checks are part of this process. Please Contact the Total Access Testing & Recertification department for more details.

Installation of ManSafe horizontal systems should only be carried out by a Latchways trained and certified installer company. Contact the Total Access Fall Protection Team for further details, or to request a consultation.
