Petzl Issue Counterfeit Warning

Petzl have released warnings in regards to counterfeit goods. Warning regarding the presence of counterfeit versions of Petzl products - Update

Counterfeit Petzl products are not a new phenomenon. Over the years, Petzl has discovered counterfeits or copies of several of its products.

However this the first time Petzl discovered identical-looking counterfeit PPE products with the Petzl logo. The danger of this is that the products DO NOT conform to safety requirements.
Petzl has recently discovered counterfeit versions of the following products in china.

It is reported that these are the only four Petzl products that have been found to be identical counterfeits.

These counterfeit products have serious defects that affect their performance and strength. The two ascenders & the pulley are now discontinued products & have been replaced with new versions.

All Petzl equipment supplied by or through Total Access (UK) Ltd. are original Petzl equipment.
