Staffordshire based Total Access (UK) will be launching the ACC power ascender at the NEC’s Safety and Health Expo 2008 in Birmingham on the 13th 14th & 15th May in Hall 9, on stand F100.
The new battery operated ACC power ascender offers revolutionary working methods for cost effective, safe and ergonomic work at height. It is a durable tool made for frequent professional use.
Technicians or rescue crews can easily use this personal elevator in order to ascend or descend a standard EN 1891 rope.
The ACC is a silent and environmentally friendly access tool that provides new possibilities when it comes to work in vertical and inclined directions.
The ACC is operated by an integrated battery pack; the strong electric motor offers advantages such as an accurate, clean and silent operation, making the ACC suitable for use indoors, in many confined spaces, and other situations where it is important that surroundings and people are not disturbed more than necessary during the performance of the work.
It has a lifting capacity of over 200 kg and a sophisticated control which allows continuous speed adjustment from 0 to 22 metres per minute in both directions. This also makes it perfect for transportation of material and equipment.
